Renaissance buildings in Florence

A passage, connecting two main streets in Florence, was opened in the Courtyard of Palazzo Medici Riccardi, one of the most important Renaissance buildings in Florence.

The fifteenth-century Michelozzo Courtyard is one of the most evocative places of the Renaissance in Florence, within whose walls are encrusted ancient archaeological artefacts, all of it dominated by the large statue of Orpheus by Baccio Bandinelli.

We can walk through "Michelozzo Courtyard "   "and the “Limonaia”, also called the "Orange Garden" or “the Path  of the Orange Trees” where Lorenzo the Magnificent of the  Medici celebrated his marriage. This green area offered a suitable backdrop for sumptuous banquets at the time of Medici during the Renaissance period.
